The director’s plan for this commercial was to simply place a Juicy Fruit logo behind the folk singer, but the editor felt this didn’t fit the style of the rest of the spot. I was asked to come up with an alternative, so with a few digital photos I constructed a background that resembled an old style vaudeville stage.
