This productivity script takes vector files of TV channel logos and batch reformats them as PNGs for TV, iOS and the web, and puts them into folders.

“Logo Maker” demo

Background

This was a workflow I designed to handle the very time consuming task of formatting over 300 TV channel logos that were constantly being updated across multiple devices and platforms. Formatting used to be a manual task handled by multiple designers, and after a period of redundancies in the business this script was the only way a smaller team could keep the channel logos up to date.

Features

  • Exports about 20 different sizes at different alignments and paddings from a single source file
  • Option to scale using ‘fit to fill’ or scale a set uniformly
  • Also exports ‘favicon’ sizes for small digital spaces from a separate source file
  • UI design, coding: Ryan Gilmore
